Charles Milne served overseas in France during the 2nd WW as an engineer for troop trains. While there, a bomb exploded near the camp and he suffered shell shock. He recovered but had recurring episodes during his years of service. He married Florence MacDonald before
enlisting and although on his return they were together for only brief periods when he was not engaged in hunting and fishing they remained married but later separated. He died in Toronto in late 1970's.
